In 2021, the District engaged with the Sports Facility Advisory Group to assist with the process of guiding the District in the development of a comprehensive strategy to determine the highest and best use for the Sunset Recreation Center that advances the District's vision, mission and objectives. 

In April 2022, the Board accepted the results of that process and are moving forward with the next steps.
