We offer a number of sports and outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the year depending on the season. Please see our current program guide for schedules and cost information for all of our recreation activities. You can view registration information here!
Co-Ed Softball
Manager's Meeting: TBD at the Bob Chisholm Community Center. 1225 Ave A
10 weeks of games with an Umpire and tournament play at the end of the season.

Start Smart Sports - Ages 3 - 5
This is a developmentally appropriate introductory program for children 3-5 years old. Start Smart prepares children and their parents for organized team sports without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt.

Open Gym Basketball - Indoor
September through mid June, 7:45 to 9:30 in the gym at Broadway Middle School. Join a pick-up game or two, it's a great way to stay in shape! Cost is $3 for drop-ins and is included in your membership if you have a monthly, 3-month or annual pass.
Pickle Ball
Two new courts were installed in the spring of 2018, located just behind the Seaside Youth Center off of Broadway St. Nets, paddles and balls are available for check-out at the front desk of Sunset Pool. Call to reserve equipment and court time (503) 738-3311 x100.
A $5 equipment rental fee
Drop in Tuesday games - 10 - 12pm - Pass covers play or non members pay $5 at the front desk to join in.
Taekwondo
Monday/Wednesday - 6:00 - 7:00pm
Geared towards those ages 8+, this is a serious martial arts program that offers many benefits to its students. Participants learn discipline and respect, while increasing both mental and physical fitness.
This class includes students at all experience levels and participants will have the opportunity to test their skills as they move upward through the different belts.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding
This is a newer program that was made possible through a grant from the Seaside Tourism Advisory Committee. Most of our sessions throughout the summer take place on Cullaby lake, just north of Seaside in Warrenton.
This is a perfect opportunity for participants to learn to balance on the board and have a pleasant paddling experience in a calm water setting. Click here to sign up.
Canoe Adventures
Our summer canoe trips take place on the scenic Neawanna Creek, launching from the boat dock in Broadway Park. Guides will point out areas of interest along the way and occasionally some wildlife will join in as well. Click here to sign up.
