Emergency Child Care

Due to Covid-19, all Youth Programs are operating under Emergency Child Care to assist working families and provide distance learning support to students. 

​

Located at 1140 Broadway Street, the Seaside Youth Center offers daily programming for youngsters ages 3-13, offering a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

​

Our Learning Ladder Preschool program provides your child the opportunity to learn through art , literacy, science, math, and most importantly, PLAY! Our "Koalas" ages 3-4 have a two-day or five-day per week option and our "Wallabies" ages 4-5 can register for either a three-day or five-day per week option. Aftercare is available for Koalas and Wallabies until 5:30 p.m. for children enrolled in the full time Preschool. All preschool attendees must be potty trained by the beginning of the school year in September. This is a very popular program and fills quickly. Annual enrollment opens in July.

Our After School Zone features programming for Kindergarten, 1st-5th Grade, and Middle School students alike. Programs start after the school day concludes and continue until 5:30 p.m. All After School Zones offer activities, healthy snacks, swimming, help with homework, and much more! 

Our Kindergarten and Middle School Zones take place at the Seaside Youth Center and our 1st-5th Grade Zone is held at Seaside Heights Elementary School.

Our Summer Camp Program offers weekly themed programming for nine weeks  throughout the summer starting in June. Participants enjoy a host of outdoor games, swimming at Sunset Pool, gardening at the youth center's community garden, and craft projects to name just a few of the many of the fun activities. There is also a special weekly field trip to any number of regional destinations for a great learning experience.
