100K Relay on the Prom

We're celebrating life at the beach with our second annual 100K Relay on the Prom! Teams will run all night along our historic Promenade to complete the race, culminating with breakfast and prizes the next morning.

FAQ:

• 100K is 62.13 miles, 20 laps on the Prom (each lap 3.1 miles). Estimated completion time: 10 hours. The race will begin at 8pm and continue through the night.

• Why at night? The Prom is well-lit and running at night will help with social distancing for the safety of participants. Plus, it’s fun.

• Route: 12th Ave to Ave U and back on Prom.

• 15-20 teams, 2-7 runners per team.

• How do you decide who runs what? Each team can decide how far each team member will run and the timing. So, if a team member wants to run three laps in one go, that’s fine. Or, if you want to take turns throughout the night, that works too. The more team members you have, the fewer miles each person will need to run to complete the 100K.

• Runners will be given a voucher for breakfast at Pig 'N Pancake.

• Parking will be available in the 12th Ave parking lot (at the Prom).

• Restrooms are located at 12th and Prom, at the Turnaround (Broadway and Prom), and at 12th and Necanicum.

• Prizes—fastest team, best costumes. We encourage you to show your team spirit by dressing in a costume, if you wish.
